Prakash tries to be friends with Lenny because he is very kind. Even though Lenny steals from his fathers store Prakash invites him into his home. Also Prakash wants to be kind. Prakash wants to make sure he isn't always left out.

I think Prakash is lucky to have a friend like Lenny because no on e else is willing to be his friend. I think Prakash is a normal kid but his mom treats him badly.

Lenny probably doesn't feel embarrassed because he is used to it. Most of the time people won't even take his head like Prakash did. Actually most of the time people won't even talk to him!
