  2. This week, I am reading DRAGON DRIVE by Ken-ichi' Sakura. It is a book about an 11 year old boy, named Reji, who thinks hes no good at anything. When he gets introduced to a VR game called Dragon Drive, he decides to try it out. When his dragon (its supposed to match your personality) is selected, he gets one that is lame! However, when he (Reji) challenges the champion of DD, he.. wins! Soon he goes into a magical world called Hon-(something) and realizes the DRAGON CRYSTAL that supports DD and the world of Hon-, REji's only choice is to fight in a dragon tournament to save the world...in both reality and magic.

  3. I'm reading the Name of This Book is Secret. I'm so close to figuring out the secret, I think. A text to self connection is the main characters were having an oriental meal and Chinese is my favorite food. A text to world connection is the table where they ate was covered in red petals and chrystal candles which reminded me of Valentine's Day. A text to text connection is the suspense is so high and I just want to know what happens next like in a Series of Unfortunate Events.

  6. Yesterday I read Percy Jackson: Battle of the Labrynth. In my book, Percy and Annebeth are sent by Hepheastus to see who has been secretly using his forge in Mount St. Helens. When They get there, thry found that Telekhines, sea demons that are part Doberman, kid, and sea lion. They were creating weapons for Kronos's evil army. Percy then ran to where Annabeth was, told her to get Hepheastus, and that he would hold them off. Then he summoned seawater, which collided with ocean water, and sent Percy flying out of the volcano. When he opened his eyes for several seconds, he saw one person, who said "My name is Calypso."
I predict that Calypso is a healer that saved Percy's life.

  7. I am reading the fantastic book Slawter. As you can tell the word slaughter is spelled wrong because there is a movie in the book named Slawter. I read today when Grubbs, Dervish, and Billy went to see a movie on set. They did this because Dervish didn't want the director do make demons actually come to the set. But Grubbs while whatching a scene thinks that the boy in the scene actually died from a demon. So now he is wanting to leave so he doesn't die. I love this book so much because it has a lot of suspense.
