I'm reading The Name Of This Book Is Secret. So far the book is very interesting and suspenseful. I want to keep reading more! A text to self connection is the characters don't like skipping or ditching school. A text to world connection is in the book a magician had to come to America because of a power-hungry ruler. This reminded me of Hitler and World War II. A text to text connection is the style of writing in this book and the mystery kind of reminds me of A Series Of Unfortunate Events. If you have not read this book, it is wonderful!. If you have, DON'T tell me how it ends. I can't wait to finish it!!

dear class, i am reading cirque du freak it is very good. i am happy that darren shawn will stay a live and not be excacuted because he failed his trials and ran away. good thing he found those vampaneze because if he didn't he would have died a long time ago.
I am reading the book The Demon Thief by Daren Shan. This is in the Demonata series, I like this book very much. It is about a boy and his family move to a new town when a Demon comes and takes the boys brother when his parents are away. Now the boy Kernel has to look for his brother while fighting Demons alongside with the Diciples(a team of people who fight Demons. Today a part I really liked is when Kernel leaves a fight and goes into a city by travling through magical doors and sees bright lights that form these magical doors. He is the only person who can see these lights, then from the first book of the series. He finds two Diciples who were chasing someone who is trying to get a Demon to kill people. They make the Demon flee back to his world and then they go search for the Diciples that Kernel was fighting with and then when they find them. I finish reading I love this book!!!!-Benjamin Knapp
Today I read Percy Jackson: The Titan's Curse. It is about how Percy (son of Posiden) and Thaila (daughter of Zeus) must stop the evil titan lord, Kronos, from rising again. (Please realize I'm writing in the morning; I'm writing about yesterday's reading) In my book, Percy lead Artemis's hunters to Camp Half-Blood. Artemis herself wanted to hunt an old, dangerous monster. At camp, some of the campers played capture the flag against some hunters. and Percy was one of those campers. Percy was defending the camper's flag. But soon he saw an openning in the middle of the battlefeild. He asked the other gaurds to gaurd the flag, and ran for the openning. Soon enough, he had the flag, and was running back to the base. But he saw a hunter as he passed... and she had his flag! The camper's had lost... for the 56th time in a row... I recommend theis book!
I'm reading Three cups of tea at first i did not under stand it but i have been reading it much more so now i do. so far i think its about a guy named Greg who goes to different places that need help and helps them mostly kids. right now he is in Korph. Korph is in Asia and it is very cold in the book Greg got lost on his way to Korph and nearly froze to death. one of the main problems in Korph is that there is only one school and one teacher that they share with another villige so the teacher can only come three days a week. Greg promissed that he will bild Korph a school. i like this book alot i am eager to tell you what happends next. this book is alot better than i thought it would be. Vanessa
Today I read the 7th book in the series of Unfortunate Events: The Vile Village. Violet, Klaus and Sunny are trying to find a knew home. None of their relatives want to adopt them because of their trail of misfortune. Now they are going to be watched by an entire village. They chose a village named Glouse because it had the letters of V.F.D. That was the last thing their friends said before count olaf snatched them. I wonder what it means?.... Alexandra Deweese
I am reading a book called"The Assassin's Apprentice" by S R Smith and J R Smith. It is a action packed thriller with mystery in it as well as fiction. It is about a farm boy called Aron who lives in Dyn Brailing. He got drafted by a group of assassins called the Stone Guild.
I LOVE the book Indigo Blue but now I am starting to read 12 at the same time! It is really good. If you've read eleven, twelve is just as good! You should read the seires. There are three books 11, 12, 13! A text to world connection is there is a girl name is Whinnie and she had a best friend but now her best friend is her worst friend. Also now the girl that everyone thinks is weird is Whinnie's new best friend! That could happen to anyone. - Mia Hardesty
