What decisions does Opal make in this story that end up changing her life? Have you ever made what seemed like a small, unimportant decision, but it turned out to be very important? Explain.

    She decides to say that the stray dog was hers. Opal was taking a large risk at saying that the stray was hers. She could of got in a lot of trouble. Once Winn-Dixie came into her life she started to be more outgoing to people. Winn-Dixie has such a positive effect on everyone around him. I once decided to play with a new group of kids once and I thought no big deal right. Wrong. I started to play with them every day. They were really nice and I was not lonly any more

    Oh, and one desicion that changed Opal's life was, yes, saying the dog was hers.
    Another decision was that she went into Gloria Dump's yard to get Winn-Dixie back, even though the Dew(dim)berry boys warned her not to.

    Opal decides Winn-Dixie is hers because she didn't want him to go to the pound and not have a owner. She also said she was lonely and so was Winn-Dixie. She also didn't have any friends.

    2 decisions that changed Opal's life were she took Winn-Dixie in and she asked her dad to tell her ten things about her mom. I don't think I have really had a life changing decision yet but I will keep that in mind if something comes up.

    Opal makes a decision that changes her life by saving Winn Dixie from going to the pound by falsely indicating that the dog belongs to her. The decision has the unintended impact of bringing people's attention to Winn Dixie and subsequently to Opal.

    One decision Opal made was geet Winn-Dixie now she has a few friends. One decision I made once was I cleaned my room and my mom was really happy with me. In the book Winn-Dixie runs into Gloria Dump's yard and helped made OPal a friend. Benjamin Knapp

    I have made several major descisions. One time I got lost in while camping. There was a fork in the road, but there was still a stroke of luck for me. I still can't remember how I got lost in the first place...

    Opal makes a tough decision because she said Winn-Dixe was her dog! If I said a stray dog
    was mine and took it home my mom and dad would say no if I wanted to keep it! Now Opal isn't so lonley anymore!

    I think Winn Dixie got the preacher out of his turtle shell. I feel the preacher can open up to Winn Dixie. He brings out a side of him we havent seen.
